Job summary

You will work with physicists, dosimetrists, and medical staff to perform QA, data management, and treatment planning support, ensuring accuracy and patient safety in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Health Physics, Medical Physics, Physics, Engineering, or related field; CAMPEP master’s preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of radiation physics, radiation therapy, and radiation safety best practices.
• Experience with QA tools, survey meters, dosimeters, and treatment planning software.
• Proficiency with technical software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow clinical protocols.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
• Physical ability to handle QA equipment in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly and monthly radiation measurements and yearly calibration on all treatment units under supervision.
• Monitor equipment in Radiation Oncology to ensure proper function and safety.
• Maintain regulatory records and reports.
• Analyze alternative treatment plans and supervise dosimetry planning functions.
• Assist with commissioning and acceptance testing of new treatment technologies.
• Support calibration and maintenance processes to maintain system accuracy.
