Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a Therapy Manager to lead the therapy team in a hospital setting, overseeing scheduling, staff orientation, and training while ensuring compassionate, goal-oriented patient care. You will guide the team in applying treatments and procedures to support rehabilitation outcomes.

The role requires licensing/certification, CPR within 30 days, and a credentialed therapy degree. Four years in OT/PT or leadership with two years of clinical practice are expected, with

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program required.
• Minimum of four years of experience in occupational / physical therapy or leadership, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Director of Therapy Operations in daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with therapy staff and hospital departments.
• Providing direct care to patients and building rewarding relationships by understanding each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
