The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, familiarity with medical office procedures, and MS Office proficiency. Experience in a medical/therapy setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical office procedures and medical terminology knowledge.
• Computer skills including MS Office are required.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Checks in patients and updates demographic and insurance information in the system.
• Collects co-pays and payments as indicated.
• Scheduling duties including coordinating appointments for Physical/Hand Therapy.
• Maintains front desk area and assists with patient flow and communications.
• Assists with inventory of supplies and supports therapy sessions as needed.
