Johnson & Johnson - Shockwave Medical is hiring a Therapy Development Manager for the Northeast territory, including New York, New Jersey, and Boston, MA.

The primary responsibility of the Therapy Development Manager is to collaborate with clinical trial sites to identify barriers to study enrollment and develop outreach, education, and patient identification initiatives to drive appropriate enrollment. This involves establishing long-term relationships with key physicians and their clinical staff, collaborating with internal teams, and being open to experimentation and learning.

How you will make an impact:
  1. Develop relationships with healthcare professionals through outreach, education, product demonstrations, and conference participation.
  2. Understand referral dynamics and develop site-specific strategies to promote disease awareness and patient enrollment.
  3. Identify unmet needs and develop programs to enhance therapy awareness.
  4. Pilot activities and scale successful programs to other sites.
  5. Guide healthcare providers on disease states and clinical trial requirements.
  6. Collaborate with clinical and research teams to support trial sites and investigators.
  7. Proactively seek ways to improve clinical trial performance.
  8. Provide feedback and insights to cross-functional teams based on clinical trial experiences.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in life sciences or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in clinical, marketing, product management, sales, or medical education within the Medtech industry.
  • Clinical experience in interventional cardiology or experience with new therapies/devices is preferred.
  • Ability to build successful partnerships and develop relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Extensive knowledge of physician outreach and education.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% within the assigned geographic area.
