Job summary

Orthopedic Physicians Alaska is seeking a Clinic Manager to lead a therapy clinic, directing operations, staffing, patient access, and performance in alignment with PT/OT standards. The role blends clinical oversight with administrative duties (up to 30%), reporting to the Director of Therapy Services, and ensuring high-quality services while cultivating a positive team culture.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday with some after-hours coverage as needed; travel to other OPA sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a physical therapy or physical therapist assistant program accredited by CAPTE, or an occupational therapy/OT/OTA program accredited by ACOTE.
• Minimum three years of experience as an orthopedic PT, PTA, OT, or COTA.
• Current Alaska license in good standing as PT, PTA, OT, or COTA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations and serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational and staff concerns.
• Maintain provider schedules in NextGen and review schedule blocks per guidelines and patient access needs.
• Provide administrative supervision and direction for all assigned clinic personnel.
• Onboard new providers with orientation to clinic workflows, NextGen/EMR, and productivity expectations.
• Lead ongoing staff development and quarterly coaching conversations with all staff.
• Ensure staff provide medically necessary, evidence-based evaluation, treatment, and documentation within deadlines.
• Maintain open, respectful communication with coworkers, physicians, patients, families, and third-party payers.
• Attend department meetings and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Therapy Services.
