Job summary

Soleo Health is seeking a Therapy Care Specialist to support our specialty infusion pharmacy in Morrisville, NC. The role involves coordinating patient care across all layers of the care continuum, working under a pharmacist to oversee dispense logistics and data capture, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Must be able to work 100% in-office with a Monday–Friday 8:30am–5pm CST schedule and NC Pharmacy Technician licensure.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in home infusion, compounding or specialty pharmacy is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; NC Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Experience with scheduling patient deliveries and authorizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact for specialty patients and coordinate timely medication dispense and delivery.
• Under supervision of specialty pharmacist to capture assessment data and shipping needs.
• Run daily/weekly pharmacy reports and manage refill queues.
• Answer phones, perform warm transfers, monitor faxes and refill workflows.
• Coordinate authorizations, renewals, and insurance verification with billing teams.
• Document all patient interactions in the designated system.
• Complete required therapy training and ensure compliant care delivery.

The Position

The Therapy Care Specialist will work with SoleoRx TCMC model and utilize national and local resources to facilitate high quality care of a patient with specialty pharmacy needs. The Therapy Care Specialist will work under the supervision of a Pharmacist to oversee logistics of a patient’s dispense and prescription maintenance, assessment data capture, and serves as the point person to coordinate patient care across all layers of the patient care continuum while on service with Soleo Health.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact for specialty patients and as liaison with Soleo branch personnel to coordinate timely medication dispense and delivery
• Works under supervision of specialty pharmacist and/or branch pharmacist to capture assessment data, ascertain patients supply needs, and schedule new and refill medication deliveries
• Run daily and weekly pharmacy reports as needed
• Answer phones and warm transfer call to appropriate location, monitor incoming faxes, and monitor TCMC refill queues
• Send orders to physicians for signature
• Work with intake/reimbursement staff to maintain active patient insurance coverage and actively pursue authorizations and re-authorizations with the auth/billing staff at the branch level
• Documentation of all patient interaction and care coordination in the designated system of record for clear and consistent communication
• Complete therapy specific training as required

Schedule

• Must be able to work 100% in-office
• Must be able to work Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm CST, 40 hours per week
• Must be a Licensed/Registered Pharmacy Technician for the state of North Carolina
• Preferred PTCB or NHA Certification
• Preferred experience with scheduling deliveries for Specialty Infusion Pharmacy patients

Requirements

• Prior experience in home infusion, compounding and/or specialty pharmacy required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Registered/Licensed Pharmacy Technician license required for the state of North Carolina in goodstanding
• PTCB/NHA Certification Preferred
• Prior experience scheduling patient refill deliveries, preferred experience with home infusion
• Prior customer service/patient services experience
• Basic to intermediate efficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (Experience with CPR+, Insight, Citus, Genesys, and Paylocity preferred)
