Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment room and equipment according to procedures.
• Welcomes and assists patients into therapy apparel or access points.
• Answers questions and provides information to patients.
• Assists patients with heat packs, paraffin dips, whirlpool, and exercises.
• Demonstrates proper equipment use and exercises to patients.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and clean work environment.
• Maintains inventory and supplies; coordinates with therapy staff.
• Performs preventive maintenance on PT equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Adheres to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Keeps up-to-date with professional knowledge and participates in educational opportunities.
