SSM Health Physical Therapy - Outpatient

Therapy Aide/Rehab Aide- PS Kids- South County, MO

Part Time

This position starts at $18.00 /hr and increases based on education and experience

Overview:

As a rehab therapy aide, you will assist therapists in the clinic with activities, prepare equipment, and maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the physical therapy space for daily patient activities. This position is ideal for students pursuing education in a medical-related field.

SSM Health Physical Therapy is a leading provider of outpatient services, with over 80 centers in the St. Louis Metro area. We specialize in sports, orthopedic, hand, and work-related injury treatments. Our team of more than 700 therapists and patient service specialists is dedicated to providing exceptional care and customer service.

Responsibilities

Therapy Aide duties include:

• Performing patient-related tasks as assigned by therapists, in accordance with relevant regulations for non-licensed personnel.
• Assisting with clerical duties such as handling calls, greeting patients, confirming appointments, mailing, and filing.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the department and equipment, including cleaning tables and equipment, assisting with laundry, and managing supplies.
• Performing other duties as requested.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college coursework in a related healthcare field preferred.
• Previous experience in a physical therapy setting is a plus.
• Enrolled in a PT/OT/ST program is preferred.
