Job summary

Hegg Health Center in Rock Valley, IA is seeking a Therapy Aide to support the physical therapy team. Under the supervision of the therapist, you will transport patients, prepare them for treatment, and help with equipment and housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities include assisting with selected procedures and clerical duties for the department. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 months related experience or training.

REQUIRED EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Requirements

• Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1, unless a medical waiver is signed and approved.
• Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse course for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 30 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.
