Job summary

PrairieCare in Minnesota is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide psychotherapy for youth with co-occurring disorders within an interdisciplinary team.

The role involves individual and family therapy, group facilitation, and coordination of care with external providers. Licensure in Minnesota (LICSW/LMFT/LPCC/LP) or readiness to sit for licensure within 3 months is required; junior licenses considered. Competitive pay and training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in intensive psychiatric healthcare settings preferred.

What You\'ll Do

• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary treatment team
• Assess, plan, and implement psychotherapeutic services for patients of PrairieCare
• Provide a comprehensive range of therapy services to patients and families
• Provide individual and family psychotherapy, facilitate process groups
• Coordinate care with providers or other caregivers external to the treatment team upon admission and discharge, as relevant and appropriate
• Lend your therapy expertise to the treatment team and across the organization, as desired and as appropriate
• Support other therapists and associate therapists as needed. Participate in case conferences and treatment team rounds
• Potentially supervise Master\'s level family therapy, counseling, or social work associate therapists or interns (based on qualifications)

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Master\'s degree in social sciences. Current licensure in the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Psychologist (LP). Will consider those with junior licenses (LAMFT, LGSW, LPC) who can demonstrate readiness to sit for licensure exam within 3 months of hire.
• Experience in intensive psychiatric healthcare settings preferred but not required; we provide extensive training as needed
• Stated desire to work with children, adolescents, adults (as applicable to role) and families
• Ability to maintain required malpractice insurance
• Ability to effectively, professionally, and efficiently communicate in written and verbal form

Pay range for the independently licensed position is $80,000 to $101,000 annually and for the Associate level therapist it is $30 to $33 depending on education, licensure, and experience.
