Baptist Memorial Health Care in Booneville, MS is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to evaluate and treat patients according to a plan of care, establishing functional goals and planning for discharge.

You will document care, supervise students and support staff as needed, and participate in activities to improve health care delivery. This entry-level position requires SLP-CCC licensure and BLS within 14 days of hire, with basic computer skills for daily tasks.

Overview

Job Summary

Evaluates and assesses patients to establish functional, measurable goals to promote restoration of functional abilities. Provides treatment according to a written plan of care to meet established goals. Plans for discharge and communicates findings and progress according to professional licensure/certification, scope of practice and departmental/discipline policies and procedures. Produces other reports as needed. May supervise clinical students and support staff including certified/licensed assistants, technicians, and volunteers. Adheres to the ASHA Code of Ethics. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health, and healing. Performs other duties as assigned.
