Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health in Booneville, MS is seeking an entry-level Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to evaluate and treat patients according to a written plan of care, establish functional goals, and participate in discharge planning.

You will document interventions in the medical record, communicate findings to families and caregivers, supervise students and staff as needed, and contribute to improving health care delivery in a collaborative, ethics-driven clinical team.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy such as keyboarding, using a mouse, and navigating sites.
• Entry level experience with clinical documentation and reporting is expected.
• SLP-CCC licensure required; BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Job Summary

Evaluates and assesses patients to establish functional, measurable goals to promote restoration of functional abilities. Provides treatment according to a written plan of care to meet established goals. Plans for discharge and communicates findings and progress according to professional licensure/certification, scope of practice and departmental/discipline policies and procedures. Produces other reports as needed. May supervise clinical students and support staff including certified/licensed assistants, technicians, and volunteers. Adheres to the ASHA Code of Ethics. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health, and healing. Performs other duties as assigned.
