Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in psychotherapy required.
  • Current Texas License as LCSW, LPC, and/or LMFT necessary.
  • Ph.D. in the relevant specialty eligible for stipend.

About the Position

A Therapist at Legacy Community Health is responsible for providing high-quality psychotherapy to patients with behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, providing individual, couples, and family therapy, and coordinating with non-physician providers for psychiatric treatment. You must document all patient encounters promptly and be well-practiced in various psychotherapeutic modalities, especially childhood disorders.

Location/Addresses:

  • KIPP Journey Collegiate (14030 Florence Rd, Sugar Land, TX 77498) — 3 days/week
  • KIPP SW (10711 Kipp Way, Houston TX 77099) — 2 days/week

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences from an accredited institution
  • Current Texas License as LCSW, LPC, and/or LMFT
  • Bilingual or Spanish-speaking preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years in psychotherapy

A Ph.D. in the relevant specialty will be honored with a CME/CEU stipend amount equivalent to the doctorate level, per policy.
