Job summary

Clover Staffing seeks a Respiratory Therapist for Tillamook, Oregon, to assist in evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for respiratory disorders. The incumbent will operate ventilators, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Requirements include NBRC RRT, CRT, BLS/ACLS, and state licensure, with 2+ years of clinical experience preferred. 7pm-7am shifts, 14-week duration, housing options and travel pay offered.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of respiratory disorders.
Evaluate patients and perform diagnostic tests (ABG, PFT).
Develop respiratory treatment plans with physicians.
Monitor patient responses to therapy.
Set up and operate ventilators and aerosol generators.
Manage life-support equipment in critical care.
Administer respiratory treatments (oxygen, nebulizers, chest physiotherapy).
Respond to emergencies (cardiac arrest, trauma).
Collaborate with healthcare team on patient management.
Educate patients and families about disease management.

Develop respiratory treatment plans with physicians.
Monitor patient physiological responses to therapy.
Set up and operate mechanical ventilators and aerosol generators.
Manage life-support equipment in critical care settings.
Administer respiratory treatments (oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy).
Respond to emergency situations (cardiac arrest, trauma).
Collaborate with healthcare team on patient management.
Educate patients and families about disease management.

Certifications/Requirements

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC required.
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) minimum certification required.
BLS/ACLS certification required.
State licensure required (49 states regulate respiratory therapy).

Experience

Associate degree or higher from accredited respiratory care program (2-3 years).
Pass NBRC Therapist Multiple-Choice (TMC) examination.
Pass NBRC Clinical Simulation Examination (CSE).
2+ years clinical respiratory care experience preferred.
Pass state licensure examination.
