Job summary

Clover Staffing seeks a Respiratory Therapist in Clearlake, California for a 13-week assignment. You will assist physicians in evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disorders and help develop patient care plans.

The role requires NBRC RRT/CRT credentials, BLS/ACLS, state licensure and 2+ years of clinical experience. Evening shift 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; housing and health benefits are provided where available.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient physiological responses to therapy.
• Set up and operate mechanical ventilators and aerosol generators.
• Manage life-support equipment in critical care settings.
• Administer respiratory treatments (oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy).
• Respond to emergency situations (cardiac arrest, trauma).
• Collaborate with healthcare team on patient management.
• Educate patients and families about disease management.

Experience

• Associate degree or higher from accredited respiratory care program (2-3 years).
• Pass NBRC Therapist Multiple-Choice (TMC) examination.
• Pass NBRC Clinical Simulation Examination (CSE).
• 2+ years clinical respiratory care experience preferred.
• Pass state licensure examination.
