Job summary

A healthcare provider in the United States is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient assessment, developing and implementing care plans, and administering prescribed medications. A current RRT certification and at least one year of hospital experience are required. Job Summary

Provides respiratory care using critical thinking skills learned and refined through education and experience as a Respiratory Therapist. A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) demonstrates these skills by successfully completing examinations administered by the Nation Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and earning the credential "RRT." A Registered Respiratory Therapist is able to assess, evaluate results, and implement complex methods of providing care. Participates in the delivery of care and functions as a specialty clinical resource for other caregivers. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. Performs other job duties as assigned.
