Therapist QMHP Bilingual Child & Adolescent
$1,000 Sign on Bonus
The Association for Individual Development (AID) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals facing physical, developmental, intellectual, and mental health challenges, as well as those who have experienced trauma or are at risk. We seek a Therapist Qualified Mental Health Professional - Bilingual Child & Adolescent, licensed or pending license in Behavioral Health, who aligns with our mission and is committed to making a difference in the community.
Schedule
First Shift, with some evenings potentially required.
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling and case management services to a caseload primarily composed of children and adolescents diagnosed with mental illnesses, working collaboratively with a team of behavioral health providers.
- Perform some work remotely, subject to performance and operational needs, with approval at management's discretion.
- Attend scheduled work hours, including evenings as needed.
- Deliver individual, couples, family, and group counseling for adults and children.
- Complete clinical assessments meeting program funders' and administrative requirements.
- Provide case management services as medically necessary.
- Complete documentation (IM+CANS, encounters, consents) promptly.
- Meet service provision and billing standards.
- Maintain required certifications and trainings.
- Adhere to AID’s Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain professional judgment and performance despite personal issues.
- Fluent in both written and verbal Spanish and English.
- Promote awareness and respect for diversity among clients, staff, and stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a human services field
- License/certification: LPC, LCPC, LSW, or LCSW (Preferred)
- Some clinical experience with children or adolescents (Required)
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written
Additional Requirements
- Conduct treatment planning meetings as needed
- Gather input from clients and stakeholders to improve services
- Provide outcome evaluation data to supervisors
- Maintain positive professional relationships with agencies, stakeholders, and coworkers
- Assist clients in maintaining public entitlements as necessary
- Participate in agency committees as assigned
- Offer outreach services to clients unable or unwilling to attend office-based services
