Job summary

PrairieCare is seeking a licensed clinical professional to work with youth and families, delivering individual, family, and group therapies as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes collaboration, coordinated care, and program-wide consultation.

Applicants must hold or be eligible for LICSW/LMFT/LPCC/LP licensure in Minnesota, with a strong willingness to sit for licensure within 3 months. Training is provided for a broad range of psychiatric services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social sciences required or near licensure in Minnesota.
• Currently licensed in Minnesota as LICSW/LMFT/LPCC/LP or eligible licensure within 3 months.
• Experience in intensive psychiatric healthcare settings preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with children, adolescents, adults and their families.

What You’ll Do

This position will work primarily with youth patients with co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary treatment team
• Assess, plan, and implement psychotherapeutic services for patients of PrairieCare
• Provide a comprehensive range of therapy services to patients and families
• Provide individual and family psychotherapy, facilitate process groups
• Coordinate care with providers or other caregivers external to the treatment team upon admission and discharge, as relevant and appropriate
• Lend your therapy expertise to the treatment team and across the organization, as desired and as appropriate
• Support other therapists and associate therapists as needed. Participate in case conferences and treatment team rounds
• Potentially supervise Master's level family therapy, counseling, or social work associate therapists or interns (based on qualifications)

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Master’s degree in social sciences. Current licensure in the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Psychologist (LP). Will consider those with junior licenses (LAMFT, LGSW, LPC) who can demonstrate readiness to sit for licensure exam within 3 months of hire.
• Experience in intensive psychiatric healthcare settings preferred but not required; we provide extensive training as needed
• Stated desire to work with children, adolescents, adults (as applicable to role) and families
• Ability to maintain required malpractice insurance
• Ability to effectively, professionally, and efficiently communicate in written and verbal form

Pay range for the independently licensed position is $80,000 to $101,000 annually and for the Associate level therapist it is $30 to $33 depending on education, licensure, and experience.
