As Heartland Family Service continues to serve the most vulnerable individuals and families in our community, we are looking for reliable, adaptable, and passionate therapists to help us engage and provide therapeutic services to people who have a history of or currently living with mental health and/or substance use needs.
A BIT ABOUT US
Founded in 1875, our agency has grown over the years to address most of the challenges children, adults, families, and communities face across the lifespan, including substance use, child abuse and neglect, domestic violence/sexual assault, human trafficking, homelessness, juvenile justice, mental health, neighborhood distress, and poverty. Today, we offer 42 programs from 20 locations in east central Nebraska and southwest Iowa. THE OPPORTUNITY
Diverse therapeutic responsibilities that include assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and training opportunities to fit within your schedule needs. Ability to work with a diverse population of clients with co-occurring disorders utilizing evidenced-based practices. Encouragement to explore your passions and areas of specialization and explore opportunities to grow within the agency.

Compensation: $35.00 per hour for Provisionally Licensed, $45.00 per hour for Fully Licensed
Work Schedule: Part-Time Flexible Schedule (20 hours per week)
Locations: Council Bluffs, Logan, Glenwood, Omaha, Papillion
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
You could be perfect for this opportunity if you’ve had at least two years previous related experience and a master’s degree in Social Work or related field. Additionally preferred licensure includes: CADC, PLADC, LADC, PLHMP, LMHP, LIMHP. We are looking for someone who can build strong rapport with diverse groups, and who is exceptionally reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and takes a trauma-informed approach to engaging with clients.
