Job summary

Peachford Hospital in Dunwoody, near Atlanta, seeks an experienced Master’s prepared Therapist to join the Adult or Adolescent Outpatient Services Program for full‑time work.

You will conduct psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups, assess treatment needs, orient new patients, and collaborate with physicians and staff.

Candidates should have a Master’s degree in a clinical field and hold LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT with at least two years of outpatient or inpatient experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a clinical area is required.
• Preferred licenses/certifications (LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT).
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient or inpatient experience; knowledge of CBT and trauma-informed care.

Outpatient Therapist - Partial Hospitalization Program

Peachford Hospital is a 246-bed acute care psychiatric hospital located in Dunwoody. We provide care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors in both inpatient and partial hospitalization programs. Peachford has been providing compassionate care since 1973 and nearly 10,000 patients seek treatment here every year.

We are searching for an experienced, energetic Master's prepared Therapist to work full time in our Adult Outpatient Services Program or Adolescent Outpatient Services Program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups and lectures.
• Determine patients’ treatment needs and conduct psychosocial assessments.
• Conduct new patient orientation and assign patients to appropriate groups.
• Maintain a working relationship with physicians, hospital staff and leaders while managing staff providing care on weekends.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related clinical area and preferred certifications (LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT).
• At least 2 years of prior outpatient or inpatient experience with knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-informed Care.
