Job summary

Clive Behavioral Health, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Licensed Outpatient Therapist to join our mental health team in Clive, IA. You will conduct psychosocial assessments and provide group and individual therapies within PHP/IOP settings, collaborating with physicians and care teams to support patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related clinical mental health field.
• Licensure in Iowa as t-LMHC, LMHC, LMSW or LISW.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in psychiatric health care facility, outpatient mental health center or equivalent setting with experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of clinical information to HMO/Insurance providers in accordance with policy

• Provide discharge planning services to PHP/IOP patients

Licensed Outpatient Therapist Opportunity -

Clive Behavioral Healthis a 100-inpatient bed stand-alone mental health hospital. We provide compassionate inpatient and outpatient care for individuals who struggle with a behavioral health disorder or co-occurring disorders. Our care providers work closely with patients and their loved ones to help achieve their personal treatment goals. We provide a secure, healing environment for all our patients, staff and visitors. We also offer intensive outpatient programming (IOP) for adolescents aged 13 to 17 and a substance use disorder intensive outpatient program for adults called First Step Recovery. Our goal with all of our programs is to help people reach their highest quality of life.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
• License: Must possess licensure in the State of Iowa as a t-LMHC, LMHC, LMSW or LISW.
• Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric health care facility, outpatient mental health center, FQHC or other equivalent mental health setting with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Outpatient experience highly preferred. Combination of education, licensure and experience and/or student internship hours may be considered.
