Salary

Clinical Trainee

Base Salary: $60,004.41 - $69,478.79/annually


Fully Licensed

Base Salary: $68,755.06 - 79,611.12/annually

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training skills, work location, experience and/or FTE.

About Canvas Health

Canvas Health's mental health and substance use disorder providers, clinicians and staff bring their diverse lived experience to help inform and guide the care they provide to clients. Our integrated programs and services offer coordinated care to people of all ages in their homes, the community, and in our clinics. We strive for excellence in clinical care as we serve those living with mental illness, substance use disorders, crisis, unstable housing and trauma. Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid.


Position Summary

This position works with a dedicated team of mental health professionals and practitioners specializing in providing therapy services to children, adolescents, and their families in the environments where they live. Mental health providers on the team provide clinical interventions under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional. The role of our program is to support children and adolescents and their families in their efforts for our clients to be maintained in the home, if possible, and in foster care or group home when necessary. Our clients are faced with various hurdles in their lives, including trauma, attachment difficulties, and other mental and emotional health struggles.

The In-Home Family Treatment Program strives to implement a team-based approach to support the complexities of the clinical work done with our clients. This position requires services to be delivered in the community, at home, at school or elsewhere. It is a position that requires working closely with and being sensitive to relationships with local schools, and a variety of Washington County providers.

This position requires some evening and on-call hours (phone response only, approximately one week out of six).

Hybrid: Oakdale Office/Washington County, MN


Schedule

Normal business hours with potentially 3-4 late afternoon/evening hours.


Minimum Qualifications

Clinical Trainee

  • Possess a master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling
  • Possess a current and valid OR currently pursuing (within six (6) months of possessing) a Minnesota State Licensure (e.g., LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC)

Full Licensed

  • Possess a master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related Human Services Field
  • Possess a current and valid LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC Minnesota State Licensure
  • Eligibility to become a credentialed provider with insurance benefits

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with and/or delivery services to diverse populations.
  • Experience with delivery either in-home or crisis services.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records systems.
