Therapist Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder (associate or licensed) - Encino

Join Emend Healthcare as a Therapist specializing in Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder (associate or licensed) in Encino.

Position Overview

This full-time, exempt role offers a salary range of $70,000 - $85,000 annually, based on skills and experience. Emend Healthcare is expanding its services in Southern California and seeks qualified professionals to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within our EMR system within 24 hours.
  • Provide crisis intervention and clinical assessments.
  • Collaborate with team members and external referral sources.
  • Participate in emergency on-call rotations and support staff training.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, accreditation, and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; recovery experience a plus.
  • Licensed or associate licensed in California (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA and clinical best practices.
  • Proficient in EMR and computer skills.
  • Valid California driver’s license and ability to participate in physical activities with clients.
Work Environment & Additional Details

Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, occasionally outdoors, and handle sensitive situations professionally.

Educational requirements include a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree; additional certifications are desirable.
