Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is seeking a Part-time Therapist (MA/MSW) for outpatient psych services during daytime hours. Reporting to the Program Manager this position provides psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic groups and individual therapy and family therapy to individuals who are seriously mentally ill. Groups focus on symptom management and medication management, which assists patients at functioning at their highest potential within their community and avoiding re-hospitalization.
The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Patient Rights.
Specific education and/or experience working with geriatric and/or adult behavioral health patients. Minimum of 12 months clinical experience in the field of Mental Health required.
Master's degree in Social Work, psychology, counseling or a related field required Assaultive Behavior Management training required within 90 days from date of hire.
Current LCSW, AMFT, MFT license required.
Current BLS (CPR) Certificate from American Heart Associates required.
