Position Summary

The Therapist conducts biopsychosocial assessments, provides individual, family, and group therapy, and develops and updates treatment plans within designated timelines. The Clinician oversees patient discharge planning, ensures appropriate resource utilization, encourages active participation in programs, and documents all services and outcomes promptly. The Clinician also responds to emergency codes as needed.

Qualifications

• Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related human services field from an accredited institution.
• Completion of relevant internship providing individual, group, and/or family therapy; inpatient experience preferred.
• Current Texas licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LPCA, or LPC); additional credentials like LCDC or LMFT are a plus.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before clinical work and renewed every 90 days.
• Training in Handle with Care and Verbal De-Escalation completed during orientation and annually.
• Ability to conduct psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, document services accurately, facilitate therapy sessions, participate in team meetings, and provide case management.
• Effective communication skills with patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Teamwork-oriented attitude.
