Job summary

Lutheran Services in Iowa (LSI) seeks a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to join a team of experienced therapists delivering telehealth and in-person therapy to couples, families, adults and children in Spencer. This is an immediate opening to meet high community need.

You will develop treatment plans, conduct assessments, and oversee case plans, with potential to work in school and office settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling or related field.
• Iowa licensure as LPHA or LMFT/LMHC; temporary/provisionally licensed applicants encouraged.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Computer skills including MS Office and EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based therapy and counseling assessments.
• Potential to see clients in school and office settings.
• Serve diverse populations: children, adults, couples, families.
• Develop individual treatment plans addressing behavioral and mental health needs.
• Manage case plan oversight and re-evaluate for optimal outcomes.
• Receive free clinical licensure supervision from Clinical Supervisors.

We are seeking a Full time/Part time Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to work with a team of experienced and Licensed Therapistsin providing telehealth and in-person therapy and counseling to couples, families, adults, and children in Spencer. This is an immediate opening due to high community need.

What You'll Do

• Provide community based therapy and counseling assessments
• Have the potential to see clients in a school and office based settings
• Serve a diverse population of children, adults, couples, and families
• Develop individual treatment plans to fully address each client's various behavioral and mental health care needs
• Manage case plan oversight and re-evaluate as necessary to build the best possible outcomes for our clients
• Have the ability to receive free clinical licensure supervision from one of our Clinical Supervisors

What You'll Need

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling or other approved related field (LMFT, LMHC)
• Must be licensed in the state of Iowa (temporary and provisionally licensed applicants are encouraged to apply!)
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Strong computer skills, including electronic client care databases and MS Office software
• Flexible availability - evening and weekend hours may be required to meet the needs of clients
