Job summary

ST BERNARDS MEDICAL CENTER is seeking a Therapist capable of providing individual, group, family, and marital therapy in a dynamic behavioral health setting. The role includes creating and executing inpatient and outpatient treatment plans with clear goals, diagnoses, and discharge planning support.

Minimum requirements include a Master's degree in counseling, social work or psychology and Arkansas licensure. Two years of psychiatric or substance abuse experience are preferred.

Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years of age or older

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Masters degree in counseling, social work or psychology required. Licenses and or certification to provide counseling in the state on Arkansas.

Experience

Minimum of two years paid experience preferred with psychiatric or substance abuse patient.

Physical

Essential Functions: Ability to hear normal to soft tones. Ability to see near and distant. Ability to communicate effectively. Non –essential: Ability to lift 20 lbs.

JOB SUMMARY

Provides individual, group, family, and marital therapy to patients. Responsible for the creation and implementation of inpatient/outpatient treatment plans which will include: Assessment; Diagnosis; Problems/need identified; and, Treatment plan, goals and objectives. Responsible for psychosocial intakes, safety planning and assisting with discharge planning for post discharge care.
