Davis Street Community Center seeks a licensed therapist to provide a broad spectrum of clinical services, including intake, diagnosis, therapy, referrals, and supervision when needed. The clinician will back up the Behavioral Health Director and participate in agency trainings.

Responsibilities include assessing clients, providing individual/family/group therapy for all ages, documenting in EHR, and participating in quality improvement activities. California licensure is required.

Qualificações

• Must have a Master of Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or Doctorate degree from an accredited university.
• Current California license/certification as a therapist is required.
• Minimum 2 years of direct client experience in the last 5 years preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience working with children and families is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients and diagnose mental health issues.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy from ages 4 to end of life.
• Develop culturally relevant interventions and treatment plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
• Provide in-service training to clinic staff and trainees.
• Document in electronic health records per regulatory requirements.
• Schedule client appointments and manage caseloads.
• Submit progress notes and documentation timely.
• Participate in quality improvement committees and agency meetings.

The Therapist (licensed) will provide a broad spectrum of clinical services including but not limited to intake, diagnosis, therapy, coordination of behavioral health services for consumers, referrals to other clinic services, consultation, case management, community outreach, psychological assessments, clinical supervision, and in-service trainings. The Therapist (licensed) will work under their own license and will be capable of providing supervision to unlicensed Therapists when needed. The Therapist (licensed) will provide back-up to the Behavioral Health Director in the clinic.
