About You

We are seeking someone who supervises and manages programs and major service delivery activities within behavioral health programs. This position would supervise all clinical staff, including therapists, LVN/LPT, and Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialists. You will be working with adults (18+) who are diagnosed with a chronic mental illness (ex: schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD) and other co-occurring conditions. We are seeking someone passionate about both providing supervision to a clinical team, as well as providing direct services to the client population.

You will need:

  • Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) - required
  • Licensed clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) – preferred.
  • Will accept BBS license-eligible candidates.
  • Great attitude - required.
  • Experience working in Mental Health or in residential care – preferred.

Your Responsibilities

Your role as a Therapist is to provide leadership, treatment coordination, and direct service of mental health and rehabilitation services to our clients. This position would apply advanced clinical knowledge and judgment and train staff as needed.

  • Oversees quality and frequency of clinical services. Provides coaching and feedback to clinical staff.
  • Provides supervision and direct care services as assigned and within the scope of practice.
  • Maintain a small caseload and provide direct client support.
  • Provides clinical training consistent with agency standards, practices, and policies and oversight to staff, interns, and volunteers.
  • Provides assessment and intervention in response to client crisis, including necessary follow-up, using appropriate consultation. Provides appropriate consultation and backup to support other staff in responding to client crises.
  • Ensures that service delivery including assessment, crisis intervention, treatment, discharge planning, and communication of significant information meets the needs of clients, families, and payers and reflects sound clinical judgment.
  • Reviews, evaluates, and/or signs documentation including those requiring LPHA signature.
  • Completes clinical records and other required documentation by the agency.
  • payer and regulatory requirements, utilizing paper or computer technology.
  • Participates in the management of team/program discretionary resources available to meet client needs.
  • Provides on-call coverage and participates in after-hours rotation, as aligned.
  • Attends and participates in staff, program, agency, and community meetings and training as required.
