This role involves providing group counseling, assessing patient needs, and coordinating care with treatment teams and outside agencies. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in social work or mental health counseling and relevant clinical experience.
Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174-bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. It offers a full continuum of care, including inpatient treatment for children, adolescents, and adults; as well as partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and ECT services for adults. The IOP/PHP Treatment Coordinator conducts therapeutic services for outpatient patients, providing group counseling. They interview and develop psychological histories, assess therapeutic needs, and develop treatment objectives and summaries. They serve as the primary contact and advocate for patients and families during outpatient programs, and coordinate discharge planning with the treatment team and outside agencies.
