Responsibilities

Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174-bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. It offers a full continuum of care, including inpatient treatment for children, adolescents, and adults; as well as partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and ECT services for adults. Position Summary

The IOP/PHP Treatment Coordinator conducts therapeutic services for outpatient patients, providing group counseling. They interview and develop psychological histories, assess therapeutic needs, and develop treatment objectives and summaries. They serve as the primary contact and advocate for patients and families during outpatient programs, and coordinate discharge planning with the treatment team and outside agencies.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutic services for Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Program patients and Telehealth Counseling
• Provide group counseling sessions
• Assess newly admitted patients
• Develop detailed re-assessments of patients
• Coordinate with community-based social and mental health agencies regarding pre-admission status and discharge planning
• Participate in treatment planning and interventions as part of the treatment team

Qualifications
