Overview

Some careers are just jobs. This one is different. At Georgia HOPE, the work you do every day creates meaningful change for children, families, and individuals who need it most.

We're a Georgia-based behavioral health provider on a mission to instill hope, empower lives, and strengthen communities. Our team specializes in supporting individuals facing emotional and behavioral challenges-often those who have experienced trauma, instability, or significant life stressors. We deliver services directly in the homes, schools, and communities where our clients live and grow, because real progress happens when care is personalized, strengths-focused, and meets people where they are.

As part of the Health Connect America family-a COA-accredited organization serving children, families, and adults across nine states-you'll have the resources, support, and professional development of a larger organization, paired with the close-knit, mission-focused culture that defines our work.

If you're looking for a career where your impact is visible, your growth is supported, and your work truly matters, you'll find it here.

Responsibilities: If you're a licensed clinician who values clinical autonomy, high-quality care, and the opportunity to both treat and guide others, this role was built for you.

As a Licensed Therapist at Georgia HOPE, you'll provide advanced therapeutic services while also playing a key role in clinical oversight, ensuring individuals receive effective, ethical, and outcomes-driven care.

What You'll Do

As a Licensed Therapist, you'll deliver and oversee clinical services with a strong emphasis on quality, compliance, and measurable outcomes. Your work will blend direct care with clinical leadership responsibilities. Day to day, you can expect to:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans using evidence-based approaches
  • Provide therapeutic services through individual, group, and family sessions while monitoring progress and adjusting care as needed
  • Deliver crisis intervention, including risk assessment, safety planning, and coordination with emergency services when necessary
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and connect clients to community resources to support holistic, coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure full compliance with regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards
  • Provide clinical oversight as a licensed provider, including supervision responsibilities, supporting service quality, and contributing to outreach and referral development efforts
What To Expect

This role may be clinic-based, community-based, or hybrid, depending on program needs. In addition to managing your own caseload, you'll serve in a supervisory capacity, with your license supporting services delivered by others on the team. You'll be responsible for maintaining active licensure, meeting ongoing training requirements, and ensuring appropriate oversight of clinical work under your supervision. Success in this role requires strong clinical judgment, leadership capability, and the ability to balance direct service delivery with oversight responsibilities. You'll work within a collaborative environment that emphasizes quality improvement, professional growth, and expanding access to care across the communities we serve.

Qualifications: We welcome candidates who bring a genuine commitment to children and families and meet the following qualifications:

  • Georgia Outpatient Services:
    • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
    • Must hold a current professional license in the state of Georgia as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
