Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta is seeking a dedicated Licensed Therapist to join our growing team in Augusta, GA. This 84-bed facility provides psychiatric services for adolescents and adults, with individualized programming and compassionate care under the umbrella of Universal Health Services.

The Licensed Therapist will perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care in line with UHS

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work or related field.
• Georgia licensure required. (LAPC, LPC, LMFT, LMHC)
• 3 to 5 years' experience in mental health required.

• Coordinates discharge planning through the medical staff
• Communicates with outpatient referral sources, families/guardians, and outpatient aftercare providers

Located in Augusta, GA our 84-bed facility provides a therapeutic setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness. Lighthouse Care Center offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities, and our tenured team includes seasoned medical staff.

The Licensed Therapist opportunity is a key member of the Lighthouse Clinical Services Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric therapeutic strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective treatment is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The Licensed Therapist is responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community.
