Qualifications

This is a fully remote position. Qualified candidates can live and work anywhere in the United States as long as you have an active Pennsylvania or Virginia LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in these states.

About The Role

As a Blackbird Psychotherapist, you will:

  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy through regular patient meetings, counseling, and treatment plan adjustments
  • Assess new clients with biopsychosocial and diagnostic evaluations
  • Build trusting relationships with patients
  • Provide availability during core after-school hours to accommodate school schedules
  • Collaborate with other specialists to develop integrated treatment plans
  • Meet minimum clinical hours after onboarding
  • Monitor patient progress and document meetings thoroughly
  • Involve family members or outside specialists when appropriate

About You

You are a good fit if you have:

  • A passion for redefining behavioral health for youth
  • Experience providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents (desired)
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit
  • Openness to feedback and working in a supportive environment
  • Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness

Qualifications

  • Active licensure in Virginia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or PsyD
  • Salary range: $80,000 - $95,000, based on licensure, experience, location, and other factors
