About The Role

As a Blackbird Psychotherapist, you will:

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services by meeting with patients regularly to provide counseling, individualized treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Evaluate new clients through biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments
• Invest in your patient relationships by establishing positive, trusting rapport with patients
• Because we must work within a child’s school schedule, we incentivize our clinicians to provide availability during Blackbird's core after-school hours
• Collaborate with other specialty providers (i.e., CRNPs, EF Coaches, Speech therapists) to establish an Integrated Treatment Plan
• Comply with minimum clinical time expectations per week after onboarding and acclimation to the role
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress and maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress
• Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate
  
  

About You

Qualifications

• Active licensure in Virginia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or PsyD is required.
• The target range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors, including licensure, experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
