Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Omaha, NE seeks a Program Therapist to deliver psychosocial assessments and evidence-based psychotherapy, guiding patients toward recovery within a multidisciplinary team.

You will conduct individual, group, and significant other counseling, develop treatment and discharge plans, and document progress in a timely manner, adhering to charting policies while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active license in state of practice – PLMHP, LMHP, LIMHP, PCMSW, CMSW, or CSW.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• Experience delivering individual, group, and significant other counseling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychosocial assessments and psychotherapeutic sessions.
• Collaborate with treatment teams to develop comprehensive treatment and discharge plans.
• Complete progress notes and treatment plans in accordance with charting policies.
• Support patient recovery in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Program Therapist, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Every day, you will be providing psychosocial and diagnostic assessment, conducting psychotherapeutic sessions with patients, reviewing cases in peer supervision, collaborating with consulting physician and treatment team in the formation of treatment plans and discharge plans.

• Conduct therapy sessions with patient by doing individual, group and significant other counseling and education to assist these individuals in achieving defined treatment goals
• Reviews cases to assure quality of care and constantly seeks ways to improve internal and external customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with consulting physician and treatment team in the formation of comprehensive treatment plans and discharge plans
• Completes assessments, progress notes, group notes and treatment plan updates in accordance with charting
  policy and procedures

Job Requirements

• Master's Degree, Mental Health Counseling or Social Work
