Job summary

CHI Health Immanuel in Omaha is seeking a Program Therapist to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. You will perform psychosocial and diagnostic assessments, conduct individual and group therapy, and participate in treatment and discharge planning.

You will collaborate with physicians and the care team, maintain thorough documentation, and strive for excellent patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work required.
• Active license to practice in state (PLMHP/LMHP/LIMHP/PCMSW/CMSW/CSW) required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychotherapy sessions (individual, group, and significant other) to help patients achieve treatment goals.
• Review cases to ensure quality of care and identify opportunities to improve satisfaction.
• Collaborate with consulting physician and treatment team on comprehensive treatment and discharge plans.
• Complete assessments, progress notes, group notes, and treatment plan updates per charting policy.

As our Program Therapist, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Every day, you will be providing psychosocial and diagnostic assessment, conducting psychotherapeutic sessions with patients, reviewing cases in peer supervision, collaborating with consulting physician and treatment team in the formation of treatment plans and discharge plans.

We are offering a $3,000 sign on bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements

Job Requirements

Pay Range

$27.97 - $41.60 /hour
