Job description

Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified full-time Therapist I (Eating Disorders) in Somerville, NJ.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Masters degree from an accredited school of Social Work or Counseling degree from an accredited school, PhD from an accredited college or university
  • Excellent customer satisfaction skills
  • Two or more years of job-related clinical experience

Preferred:

  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a mental health setting

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • NJ State licensure, LCSW, LPC is preferred; LSW, LAC is acceptable depending on experience

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Day Shift, 40 hours/week
  • Full Time Schedule

Essential Functions:

  • Provide assessment, prevention/intervention, education, treatment and discharge services to adult psychiatric patients and their families
  • Actively participate in department-specific and hospital-wide activities to ensure regulatory compliance, enhance program development, and quality improvement
  • Engage in community outreach, professional associations, and marketing activities
