Beacon Behavioral Inpatient in Lutcher is seeking PRN Therapists to join a multidisciplinary inpatient team. The role focuses on assessing patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support recovery.

The position requires a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and relevant licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, P-LPC) with inpatient experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible LMSW, LCSW, LPC or P-LPC.
• Inpatient clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine therapy needs.

Our Therapist in Lutcher play a critical role in delivering comprehensive therapeutic care to patients within our inpatient hospital setting, aiming to improve their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. This position involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support recovery and enhance quality of life. Our therapist collaborates closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care. They also provide education and support to patients and their families to facilitate understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process. Ultimately, the role contributes significantly to patient outcomes by promoting healing, functional independence, and emotional resilience during hospitalization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, or a related therapeutic discipline required. Acceptable licenses: LMSW, LCSW, LPC, P‑LPC
• Demonstrated clinical experience in an inpatient hospital or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, patient assessment, and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with diverse patient populations including adult, and geriatric patients.
• Certification in specialized therapeutic modalities or advanced clinical training.
