Job summary

Path Behavioral Healthcare in Slidell, LA is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our in-office, community-based care team. You will provide CPST and PSR services and collaborate with licensed, provisional, and unlicensed staff as well as nurse practitioners.

You will use EHR and telemedicine platforms, participate in ongoing professional development, and contribute to delivering compassionate, barrier-free mental health care to historically underserved clients.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Counseling (MC), Social Work (MSW), Clinical Psychology (MCP), Family Therapy (MFT), Health Counselor (MHC), or Science/Psych (MSPSY) from an accredited university.
• Licensure required: PLPC/LPC/LPCS, PLMFT/LMFT/LMFTS, CSW/LMSW/LCSW.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred, outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPST and PSR services as assigned.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to develop customized treatment plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Education: Candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Counseling (MC), Social Work (MSW), Clinical Psychology (MCP), Family Therapy (MFT), Health Counselor (MHC), or Science/Psych (MSPSY) by an accredited university.

Licensure: Candidates must possess one of the following licenses: PLPC/LPC/LPCS, PLMFT/LMFT/LMFTS, CSW/LMSW/LCSW

Preferred Experience/Skills: 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient setting.

Communication Skills: Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate professionally via telephone and in writing. Strong grammar and writing skills are crucial for clear and concise communication with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

Essential Technical/Motor Skills:Candidates must achieve competency in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) program, telemedicine services, and any additional software programs utilized by the company, ensuring efficient access and updating of client information. The role requires fine dexterity, adept handling, and proficient gripping abilities to perform various tasks.

Background: The candidate must pass all federal and state background checks, and their educational and work history will be confirmed in compliance with company policies.
