Universal Health Services, Inc. is hiring a Program Therapist based in Orlando, Florida. This full-time role involves facilitating therapy sessions, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans for patients in a psychiatric hospital. Ideal candidates will hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field, possess a Florida license, and have at least one year of clinical experience.

The University Behavioral Center is located on a 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, and includes 112 licensed beds.
The Program Therapist performs social services functions to assist patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access therapeutic treatment skills to achieve optimal emotional health. Responsibilities include providing basic consultation, teaching, specialized clinical social work services for individuals and families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, group therapy, providing information and referrals as needed, and individual therapy when ordered by a MD. This position requires registration and/or license in the state of Florida. The therapist works in a psychiatric hospital setting with patients presenting with co-occurring disorders, psychiatric disorders, substance abuse disorders, and other behavioral disorders. Social services include, but are not limited to, discharge planning.
