Our mental health facility provides safe and effective inpatient treatment to assist individuals in leading more productive and fulfilling lives. The facility is located on a beautiful 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, and includes 112 licensed beds.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Technician to join our healthcare team at University Behavioral Center, located in Orlando, Florida. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of patient care practices under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality care to psychiatric patients. This role involves monitoring our patients and facilitating group activities in our units. This individual will be working closely with patients experiencing psychiatric disorders, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well‑being while promoting recovery and rehabilitation. Previous experience working directly with patients in a psychiatric facility or rehabilitation program is highly preferred.
We are currently hiring for Day and Night Shift/Full‑Time.
