AC001 Acenda, Inc. seeks a Therapist for the Functional Family Therapy Program serving Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties in New Jersey.

The role delivers in-home, evidence-based FFT to families with youth aged 11-18, collaborating with partners and maintaining thorough documentation. The ideal candidate has a relevant mental health degree, strong clinical skills, and a passion for working with children and adolescents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant mental health discipline.
• Must have strong clinical skills and a willingness to learn.
• Motivation and strong social skills to build healthy relationships with clients and partners.
• Flexibility and passion for working with children/adolescents.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record. Local travel required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home therapeutic services to families using an evidence-based clinical approach
• Provide culturally competent care to client population
• Collaborate with system partners as needed, and continuously assess client needs and adjust services accordingly
• Complete documentation per program guidelines
• Be willing to learn the Functional Family Therapy protocol and process

Job Overview

Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is an evidenced-based family intervention program for youth ages 11-18 who are experiencing behavioral and relational problems at home and in the community. FFT is an effective treatment for a wide range of behavioral and emotional problems such as symptoms of conduct and oppositional and defiant behaviors. The ideal candidate is flexible, has a desire to work within a collaborative team environment, and engage with families in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities

Additional Information

Starting Compensation: $21.30 per hour for bachelor's and $50,000 annually for master’s Bilingual-Spanish differential: $1.50/hourly
