Role Overview:

The WISe Clinician at Valley Cities Behavioral Health will be responsible for providing intakes and ongoing mental health services for a caseload of up to 15 youth and families. This may include individual therapy, family therapy, psychoeducation, and facilitation of therapeutic groups. The Clinician will work in collaboration with the client, family, and Wraparound team members to provide crisis services as needed and help clients identify their goals, needs, and resources to prepare for engagement in therapy. Services will be provided on an outreach basis in various community locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Orient and educate clients and their families
  • Participate in WISe Child & Family Team Meetings
  • Perform real-world problem-solving with clients
  • Attend meetings related to the client's involvement in other child-serving systems
  • Build effective working relationships with family members and community providers
  • Assist clients in strengthening connections to informal support
What We're Looking For:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in behavioral science field
  • Mental Health Professional (MHP)
  • Licensure with the State of Washington, desired
Other:
  • Experience working with youth and families with complex needs required.
  • Obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor registration
  • Must have the ability to transport clients
  • Pass required background checks
