Sandstone Care in Rockville, MD seeks a Mental Health Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy within an outpatient setting for teens and young adults. You will develop treatment plans, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery goals.

The role requires a master’s degree in behavioral health and an active Maryland license, with 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral health science required.
• Active Maryland license in good standing required.
• LGPC/LCPC/LMSW/LCSW-C/LGMFT/LCMFT eligibility.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with ages 13–30 in detox/residential/IOP settings.
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads with high standard of care.

Responsabilités

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive treatment plans with clients and families.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation compliant with standards.
• Participate in utilization reviews and medical necessity discussions with insurers.
• Coordinate with families to align goals and progress.
• Contribute to program development and staff mentoring.
• Represent the organization positively in interactions with families and partners.
