Outreach is seeking a full-time Therapist/Crisis Intervention Program Coordinator to lead the CCBYS crisis intervention program at our Warrenville counseling center while maintaining a half-time clinical caseload.

This role blends direct therapy with program coordination, crisis-response support, and community partnership for youth and families facing significant barriers to services. Illinois licensure preferred; strong collaboration and data reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Current Illinois independent clinical licensure preferred; license-eligible may be considered.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience with youth and families.
• Experience delivering behavioral health treatment across modalities (individual, family, group, crisis).
• Demonstrated leadership in supervision, training, or program coordination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a half-time caseload with individual, youth, and family therapy.
• Keep timely, accurate clinical records compliant with HIPAA and Outreach policies.
• Coordinate day-to-day administration of the CCBYS crisis program at Warrenville.
• Oversee crisis grant records, monthly stats, and annual file-audit prep.
• Provide follow-up care coordination with DCFS, legal systems, and service providers.
• Facilitate crisis intervention for local police and rotate pager coverage.
• Build relationships with police, probation, schools, and community partners.
• Provide consultation and psychoeducational support to schools and churches.
• Participate in supervision, team staffing, and monthly clinical training.
• Support EHR, chart audits, Caseworks, GOALS, and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a half-time caseload providing individual, youth, and family therapy, including assessment, treatment, termination, and coordination of services.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical records in accordance with Outreach policies, legal and insurance requirements, and HIPAA standards.
• Coordinate the day-to-day administration of the CCBYS crisis intervention program at the Warrenville location.
• Oversee crisis grant case records, monthly statistical reporting, and annual file-audit preparation.
• Provide follow-up care coordination for CCBYS clients, including alternative placements and collaboration with DCFS, the legal system, and other service providers.
• Facilitate crisis intervention services for local police departments serving runaway or locked-out youth; participate in the rotating crisis pager schedule and provide team backup as needed.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with police departments, probation departments, schools, youth pastors, and community service providers.
• Provide consultation and psychoeducational support to schools, churches, and parent groups.
• Participate in clinical supervision, team staffing, monthly clinical training, and agency meetings and events.
• Support administrative functions related to the electronic health record, chart audits, Caseworks, GOALS, and required program data.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate, timely data entry and reporting in accordance with Outreach Data Standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field required.
• Current Illinois independent clinical licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT is preferred. Candidates who are license-eligible or nearing eligibility for independent clinical licensure may be considered.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience providing behavioral health services, including systemic interventions with youth and families.
• Experience providing behavioral health treatment, which may include individual, family, group, couples, and/or crisis intervention services with children, adolescents, or adults.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in clinical supervision, staff training, program coordination, case consultation, community outreach, or a related area.
• Ability to navigate educational, legal, behavioral health, and community-based service systems and coordinate services across systems.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals and families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, including populations experiencing financial or other barriers to services.
• Current valid Illinois driver’s license, automobile insurance, reliable transportation, and a safe driving record required.
