Job summary

Youth Outreach Services is seeking a compassionate Clinical Counselor to support youth and families facing mental and behavioral health challenges at the Illinois Youth Center in Chicago.

Responsibilities include providing individual, group, and family counseling, developing treatment plans, and, when needed, conducting home or school visits to ensure consistent support for clients. A Master's degree and relevant licensure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• Preferred LPC, LSW, AMFT, or CADC licensure.
• Experience working with adolescents in a counseling setting.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Program Manager, you'll provide individual, group, and family counseling using various intervention models. You'll create and monitor treatment plans, and when needed, conduct home or school visits to ensure clients receive consistent support.

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, or a related field
• Preferred licensure: LPC, LSW, AMFT, or CADC
• Experience working with adolescents in a counseling setting
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (insurance required)
