Therapist Counselor (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC) Job Opening Virtual Online Position

We at TelepsychHealth are looking for a personable, energetic, self-motivated licensed psychologist who is interested in providing telepsychiatric services to individuals in Texas, New York, California, Florida, and potentially more states. The position is for virtual care, with the option for in-person treatment in Jacksonville, FL.

This is an employed W2 position with benefits (health insurance, dental insurance, PTO). You would have the support of intake, benefit verification, insurance credentialing, billing, scheduling, and authorizations. You would be working closely with a team consisting of a psychiatrist, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and professional counselors.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Carrying out psychotherapy services in accordance with state and national regulations.
2. Maintaining the schedule of all your active clients.
3. Completing timely appointment notes that comply with insurance contracts.
4. Operating and troubleshooting your own technology (such as computer, software, EHR).
5. Collaborating with other providers of the practice.
6. Interest in running group therapy is a plus.

About the Position

– To start, expect 20 hours of appointments per week for the first 4 weeks. As your census grows, the expectation is that after 4 weeks, you would work 40 hours per week.

– Patients will see you from their homes, not from a clinic or hospital.

– Average age of patients is around 20-45, but ranges from 18 to 65.

– The EHR we use is ChARM, which is easy to use, reliable, and web-based, including a patient portal and scheduling.

– New patient and follow-up appointments are 50-55 minutes.

– Pay is based on face-to-face time with patients.

Requirements

• Applicants must have an independent and unrestricted license in New York or Texas and at least 1 year of experience in the field.
• Hold a current license in either New York, Texas, Florida, Illinois, or California with a clean license history.
• Character Requirements: We are looking for someone who loves interacting with people, is collaborative with teams, exceptionally organized, ambitious about growth, articulate, attentive to details, curious, and comfortable with complexity.
• You must own a computer with a camera, subscribe to high-speed internet, and have a private, well-lit office to see patients.
• You must be able to work at least 30 hours per week.
• You must be willing to consent to a background check.
• Candidates will need a NPI and an attested CAQH profile. This is required for credentialing with insurance companies.
• Must not be currently under contract or have any non-compete with your current employer.
• Must live in the U.S.
