Description

1. Provide psychotherapy services and/or substance abuse counseling within your scope of expertise to individuals, couples, families, and groups, aligning with FCC’s mission, vision, and values. Maintain at least 70% of your time in psychotherapy. Follow all laws regarding client rights, confidentiality, and privacy as per HIPAA, standards, and FCC policies.
2. Deliver treatment for all FCC contracted services, including Treatment Court Programs, Jail Programming, Family 2.0, and other groups. Work in group settings, meet monthly with agency contract teams, and keep the Program Coordinator updated. Ensure documentation and releases are current. Provide assessments and treatment plans promptly.
3. Maintain client records using the agency’s Electronic Health Record system, ensuring timely and complete documentation. Build positive relationships with referral sources, clients, and purchasers, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based services with successful outcomes. Promote a positive community image of services and demonstrate professionalism through advocacy, training, or education.
4. Participate actively in supervision, staff meetings, and other agency gatherings. Facilitate two annual trainings on your expertise. Keep licensure and certification current and complete required staff development hours.
5. Conduct community presentations or outreach services as needed.
6. Maintain regular communication with your supervisor regarding program and service issues, updates, and concerns.

Qualifications

1. Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Social Work, or related field. Licensed and eligible for third-party billing as a mental health professional in good standing.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to market services and embody the agency’s mission, vision, and values. Meet core competencies: Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Recovery Model, CBT, Risk Assessment, and at least one other approved specialty.
3. Proficiency with desktop applications including Gmail and Microsoft Office.
4. Normal office environment; minimal physical demands. Some community-based services and travel may be required.
