Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking an ACT Therapist to provide individual and group therapy in community and office settings. You will conduct assessments, develop recovery plans, and collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to deliver wraparound behavioral health support.

The role emphasizes delivering culturally competent, person-centered care in clients' homes and communities with necessary driving responsibilities. A Master’s degree and Missouri licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or social work as recognized by the US DOE.
• Licensed therapist in Missouri (PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or PLMFT) to practice in the state.
• Valid driver's license and agency-required automobile coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy in community and office settings.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop wellness and recovery plans.
• Participate in daily team meetings within a transdisciplinary model.
• Deliver person-centered, culturally competent care to individuals and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation per agency and state regulations.
• Provide on-call crisis intervention coverage on rotating schedule.
• Drive to deliver services in the community as needed.

Empower individuals to achieve stability and wellness through person-centered, community-based care. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with on-call aspects. As an ACT Therapist, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive, wraparound behavioral health support. You'll work directly with clients in their communities and homes, helping them build skills, manage symptoms, and achieve their recovery goals. This role combines clinical expertise with hands-on engagement, ensuring that each person receives the support they need where and when it's needed most. About ACT/ACT TAY/STEPS ACT (Assertive Community Treatment)/ACT TAY (Assertive Community Treatment for Transitional-Aged Youth)/STEPS (Shape, Teach, Evolve, Prepare, Support) programs are a way of providing many types of service to people with chronic mental health disorders. ACT/STEPS teams provide services directly to people in their community. People who access ACT/STEPS services receive the wrap-around psychiatric services, but within the comfort of their own home and community. ACT/STEPS team members are comprised of professionals in the areas of psychiatry, social work, nursing, substance use disorders, supported employment, and peer support so they have the skills they need to meet the many needs of the people they serve. The ACT/STEPS team provides these services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, each day of the year. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy in both community and office settings.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized wellness and recovery plans.
• Participate in daily team meetings and collaborate within a transdisciplinary team model.
• Deliver culturally competent, person-centered care to meet the unique needs of each individual and family.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with agency and state regulations.
• Provide on-call crisis intervention coverage on a rotating schedule.
• Offer licensure supervision, if applicable.
• Drive as needed to provide services and support to clients in the community; driving is an essential function of this position.

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, or social work as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education required
• WORK EXPERIENCE
• Working knowledge of DSM-5
• A valid driver's license and agency-established minimum automobile coverage required
• LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
