Job summary

Preferred Family Health Care in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Therapist or Provisional Therapist to provide individual, family, and group counseling, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans. You will work within a collaborative team to apply evidence-based interventions and support clients’ growth and wellbeing.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, plus provisional MO licensure (PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT) with supervision toward full licensure.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
  • Provisional licensure with the Missouri board (PLPC, LMSW, or PLMFT).
  • Ability to attain full licensure through supervision and exams.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual, family, and group counseling under supervision.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, screenings, and intakes.
  • Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate evidence-based therapy to improve mental health.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and attend staffing meetings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation per standards and regulations.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed and assist transitions of care.
  • Offer supervision/consultation when qualified.
